From the Healing Prayer Team:
Matthew 9: 27-30: As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, calling out, Have mercy on us, Son of David! When He had gone indoors, the blind came to Him, and He asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” Yes, Lord, they replied. Then He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith it will be done to you”; and their sight was restored.
James 5: 14-16: Is any of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
The Bible contains many examples of God healing those in need. It is clear that He wants His children to be whole and aware of His love for them.
For several years there has been in this church a healing prayer team whose members are available to anoint and lay hands on those who are seeking healing from the Lord. The team is available in the back of the sanctuary during the Communion time in the service on the first Sunday of each month, and is also available to visit at other times, if there is need.
Prayer for any need is available; all matters are treated with the greatest possible confidence and discretion.
