Make Your Summer Count: Right from the Start!

Camp is the time of your life! Comfortable cabins, good food, great counselors leading excellent Bible studies, and the perfect combo of activities sure to fill your day!

New Community & Next Generation are weeklong Christian Camps for Jr. & Sr. High youths, respectively, held at Camp Hope in Litchfield, CT on beautiful Bantam Lake. The extraordinary staffs focus on creating an atmosphere where risk is safe--to make new friends, to attempt exciting activities, and to reach out to God who has shown His love to us in Jesus Christ.

Camp Hope has a remarkable assortment of activities for campers! Sure, there's a lake to swim in, basketball hoops and a big playing field, but there's so much more! How about tubing on bumper tubes, Jet Ski rides, gliding down the Zip Line or flipping on the Euro-bungee?! Don't forget the Water Slide, Beach Volley-ball, or flying into the air after being launched from the Blob! When it's time for indoor activities, there's Mary Lou's, the snack bar/game room ¯ par excellence! Some campers have found the service projects, to benefit the inner-city campers coming later in the summer, the highpoint of their week.

"My Favorite Week of the Year"

What is the week at New Community/Next Generation Like?

While we expect over 100 campers for the week, you get to know boys and girls your own age in a small group we call "Family Groups." You will become a team together, with fun recreation and help-ful Bible Study.

In addition to cabins for the boys, Next Generation utilizes David's Lodge, which has more of the comforts of an adult retreat facility, including a game room and living room providing a comfortable gathering place for our older campers. Many Next Generation participants began in New Community, and look forward to becoming Counselors in Training.

How much does it cost? $335 covers all activities. Many churches offer scholarships.

How can you sign up to be part of the fun? Find a Camp Registration Form at http://www.acswebnetworks.com/firstchurchofchrist/article78741.htm. Send that in with your $100 deposit. When you come, bring your Health Form and the remainder of the registration cost.
